JOB SUMMARY The Front Desk Attendant is the lead customer service contact for all members, guests, or prospects. The Front Desk attendant is also responsible for selling all products and services. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Greets and checks in all members and guests Sells all products and services Liaison between members and Membership Office: Including prospects and current members Answers and directs all incoming phone calls Fields all member complaints and concerns Performs Opening and Closing Procedures for the club if assigned those shifts Responsible for keeping both Program and Check-In desks clean, neat, and orderly Attends monthly departmental meetings Maintains professionalism when not assisting members; avoids eating, sitting, reading, Internet surfing, or any other activities that are not work-related Creates the “First Impression” Other duties as assigned REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Must be highly motivated and energetic Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Organizational skills Strong attention to detail Ability to multi-task An understanding of health club operations Must be a team player, willing to cover or trade shifts when necessary Must be able to work days, evenings, and weekends as necessary REQUIRED EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Must have experience in customer service Experience in health club or the hospitability industry is preferred CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications (must be obtained within 60 days of hire)

Membership Consultant
Membership Consultant The Fitness Consultant is responsible for promoting and selling Personal Training to new/existing members and selling renewals/upgrades to current gym members. Major Responsibilities: Generates sales through Company–sponsored (walk-ins) and employee sponsored (outreach and promotions). Maintains accurate records of all Company-sponsored and employee-sponsored. Follows up on all prospects by using established World Gym sales systems. Conducts gym tours using established World Gym sales systems. Conducts telephone inquiries using established World Gym sales systems. Must establish and maintain a minimum required referral program as defined by World Gym Company standards. Maintain FC planner using established sales systems. Must be current on World Gym Company pricing and promotion schedule. Maintains information on club history, background, philosophy, facilities, staff and policies. Has a thorough knowledge of, adheres to, and enforces Company policies and procedures as they pertain to gym operations. Assumes responsibility for developing selling skills. Prepares for, attends and actively participates in sales meetings. Maintains a positive relationship with the rest of the staff. Supports other staff in achieving their goals. Participates in all scheduled meetings as directed by the General Manager or Personal Training Director. Successfully completes the FC Training courses. Qualifications & Requirements: High school diploma and some college course completion required. College degree, either Associate or Bachelor’s preferred. Excellent sales, communication and customer service skills. Must be able to successfully pass all testing requirements including gym tours, telephone inquiry, counselor planner audit, guest card audit, lead box/bowl program, referral program and corporate outreach program. Ability to achieve acceptable level of units per month. Thorough understanding of World Gym personal training sales systems. Demonstrated understanding of the Daily Sales Stat report and its contents. Basic computer skills. Current CPR Certification

Personal Training Director
Description As the Personal Training Department Head, you will be responsible for the overall direction, development, coordination, and supervision of your health club's Personal Training Department. In this position, you will ensure continuous professional growth and development of all Certified Personal Trainers and leadership in your gym while overseeing scheduling and reporting according to standard operating procedures. Responsibilities - Develop comprehensive personal training programs to ensure clients are satisfied with their workout program and remain motivated to attain their personal fitness goals - Promote and sell personal training programs and services throughout the club and community - Motivate and coach Personal Trainers to achieve revenue and session goals - Meet or exceed the personal training business plan, monthly budget, and revenue goals - Manage inventory, complete payroll, and ensure payroll expenses are within budgetary guidelines - Assess individual performance to provide feedback and employee recognition - Recruit, interview, and train all new personal training staff Qualifications - Four-year degree in kinesiology, sports medicine, or other related field - One - two years experience as COMPANY Fitness Personal Training Assistant Department Head - Minimum of two nationally accredited Personal Training certifications - 2-3 years sales experience - Minimum of one year supervisory experience - 2-3 years personal training experience Schedule: Full-time Job Level: Manager with Direct Reports Shift: Rotating
