BODYPUMP

BODYPUMP is a barbell workout for anyone looking to get lean, toned, strong and fit, fast. Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition, BODYPUMP gives you a total body workout, burning up to *540 calories, shapes and tones your entire body, increases core strength and improves bone health. Instructors will coach you through the scientifically proven moves and techniques pumping out encouragement, motivation and great music helping you achieve much more than on your own! This program is based on THE REP EFFECT, a proven formula to develop lean, athletic muscle. You’ll leave the class feeling challenged and motivated, ready to come back for more. BODYPUMP is the most successful and popular fitness program in the world!

RPM

RPM is a group indoor cycling workout where you control the intensity.  It’s fun, low impact and you can burns loads of calories. With great music pumping and the group riding as one, your instructor takes you on a journey of hill climbs, sprints and flat riding. In an RPM workout you repeatedly spin the pedals to reach your cardio peak then ease back down, keeping pace with the pack to lift your personal performance and boost your cardio fitness. RPM is a great way to build up your sense of personal achievement. You can draw on the group’s energy and find your rhythm in the music. You control your own resistance levels and speed so you can build up your fitness level over time. It’s a journey, not a race!

GRITSERIES

LES MILLS GRIT SERIES is a 30-minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout, designed to improve strength and build lean muscle.

GRIT SERIES is available LIVE and VIRTUAL at World Gym Cairns. Grit Strength, Grit Cardio, Grit Athletic and Grit Plyo (Plyo available for phase out period as Athletic now replaces this format from April 2019) This workout uses barbell, weight plate and body weight exercises to blast all major muscle groups. LES MILLS GRIT SERIES takes cutting edge scientifically proven HIIT and combines it with powerful music and inspirational coaches who will be down on the floor with you, motivating you to go harder to get fit, fast. Some of the benefits of GRIT SERIES includes rapidly improving strength, increasing lean muscle, puts your metabolism into overdrive burning calories hours after the workout ends, burning fat, increases aerobic fitness and gets you out of your comfort zone all in 30 minutes!!!! BODYATTACK

BODYATTACK is a high energy sports inspired fitness class with moves that cater for total beginners to total addicts. Our instructors offer low and high impact options throughout the class to ensure success. We combine athletic movements like running, lunging and jumping with strength exercises such as push-ups and squats. We will pump out energizing tunes and lead you through the workout, challenging your limits in a good way, burning up to *675 calories and leaving you with a sense of achievement. 

STRETCH

STRETCH is a 30 minute class designed to help improve your training, to move more freely and easily by opening up stiff joints and loosening tight muscles. Mobility is a commonly overlooked part of being fit and healthy. This class is designed to help enhance your quality of movement delivered to you by a Personal Trainer in a group environment, any level of flexibility is welcome as options always offered during STRETCH.

WRX

WRX-The program is based on educating the participants on clear and professional technique, a simple and effective method that has a focus on performance and health. What to expect? WRX will begin with a fun, dynamic warm up then our focus is on strength, there are many regressions for every movement provided, then we finish with our unique conditioning routine, this is based on moderate to high intensity. We tailor the programs to suit all levels of fitness from beginners to experienced members. Our classes run from 45-60 minutes, we have lots of fun additives to spice up the class. If you are looking to get strong safely and increase your cardiovascular health, this is the class for you. See you in the Functional Zone!!!

YOGA

YOGA combines breathing exercises and flowing postures, which are used to build flexibility and strength. This class provides a calming effect which aids in relaxation and stress reduction. Our YOGA Instructors will always provide options and everyone is welcome.

YOGA-Belinda's class-Vinyasa Flow Yoga will allow you to tune into your inner zen, whilst giving your body exactly what it needs in terms of strength, flexibility, stability and mobility all in one class. Moving with the breath, this class is a perfect fusion of dynamic stretching and restorative poses, finishing with a relaxing meditation so you leave feeling like you're walking on the clouds yet also reenergised. Suitable for all ages and levels.

YOGA-Meri's class-Purna Yoga is a complete practice that nurtures all aspects of the being-physical, mental and spiritual embracing all facets of life as areas of potential growth. Meri delivers this philosophy into her own unique joyful Yoga class guiding you in a fun open motivating environment to build flexibility, strength and stamina of body, mind and spirit.

BOOTCAMP

BOOTCAMP is based on circuit style training, which has a variety of full body exercises suitable for beginner to advanced where we focus on performing our exercises with high quality technique and keeping the heart rate high.

BOOTCAMP is a great way to develop strength, conditioning, help you lose weight and burn fat. The class layout includes 12 different stations with varying duration of work from 30-40seconds with rest breaks. Once the circuit rounds are completed we move onto the finisher, which we focus on your core and glutes. This class will definitely help to shape and take your physique and fitness to another level!!!

BOOTY

BOOTY-In this glute development class we target the glutes from all angles to maximise muscle building results. BOOTY is a specific strength circuit delivered to you by a Certified Personal Trainer in a group environment. We start the class with some mobility and activation drills, then we move into a 3 phase strength circuit and we finish with an awesome Booty-Burner! BOOTY is the class for you if you want to build your best, tight, rounded and lifted Butt! 

METAFIT

METAFIT is a 30 minute high-intensity interval style metabolic workout that includes a series of body-weight exercises designed to keep burning calories long after your session is completed. Created by a former Royal Marine Commando you are sure to feel the HIIT with Metafit and set your metabolism on fire!!

BODYCOMBATVIRTUAL

Jump into a BODYCOMBAT VIRTUAL class to punch and kick your way up to a *740 calorie burn!!! This high energy martial arts inspired, non contact workout will be delivered to you by Les Mills Presenters on the biggest high definition virtual screen in Cairns!!! Release stress, have a blast and walk away feeling like a champ with BODYCOMBAT VIRTUAL.

BODYBALANCEVIRTUAL

BODYBALANCE VIRTUAL is ideal for anyone and everyone, it is the Yoga-based class that will improve your mind, your body and your life. An inspired soundtrack plays as you bend and stretch through a series of simple Yoga moves and embrace elements of Tai Chi and Pilates. Breathing control is a part of all of the exercises and Les Mills Presenters will always provide options for those just getting started. You'll strengthen your entire body and leave the class feeling calm, centred and happy!

BARREVIRTUAL

BARRE VIRTUAL is a modern version of classic balletic training, BARRE is a 30 minute workout designed to shape and tone postural muscles, building core strength and allowing you to escape the everyday. Incorporating classic ballet positions with modern music. BARRE is a combination of cardio and strength with high rep motion movements using body weight, light weight plates and resistance bands, which will ultimately strengthen shape and tone your entire body. If you're looking for something different in your exercise schedule you will love BARRE. Without the traditional barre to support you the muscles supporting your body's stability and strength become the focus in this beautiful program, don't underestimate the burn in this 30 minute class. Comfortable clothing and socks recommended as you will be removing your normal trainers in the studio. Delivered to you on a massive high definition wall screen with amazing sound by the best Les Mills BARRE Presenters.

CXWORXVIRTUAL

Exercising muscles around the core, CXWORX provides the vital ingredient for a stronger body. A stronger core makes you better at all things you do, from everyday life to your favorite sports - it’s the glue that holds everything together. All the moves in CXWORX have options, so it’s challenging but achievable for your own level of fitness. During the 30-minute workout Les Mills Trainers guide you through correct technique as you work with resistance tubes and weight plates, as well as body weight exercises like crunches, and hovers. You will also get into some hip, butt and lower back exercises. CWXORX VIRTUAL is delivered on the biggest high definition screen in Cairns!!
